Bali Creative Community

Kuta Bali - Bali Creative Community that bring together designers, musicians, photography enthusiasts, architects, artists and others will hold Bali Creative Festival (BCF). The festival is held over four days, 3-6 December 2010, and was centered at the Art Centre, Jalan Nusa Indah, Denpasar.

Hotel di Kuta Bali "This festival is to collect all the creative potential in Bali which we think is outstanding," said Rudolf Dethu, Coordinator of BCF, Thursday (2 / 11).

The festival is part of the program 100% Love Indonesia, which became the focus of government, particularly the Department of Commerce, in appreciation of campaign products and creations of the nation.

The celebration was organized in three main categories, namely Creative Exhibition, Creative Performing and Creative Forum. The exhibition includes exhibitions inspirational creative, creative industries, exhibitions and film screenings. This category displays the latest products and creative works that have economic value, innovation and function.

Communities involved in this creative exhibition, among others, is Denpasar Photographers Community, the Community Circle & Eka Rock (SID), the Association of Indonesian Graphic Design (Adgi), community cartoon, poster exhibition World Silent Day, Bali Export Development Organization, and a coalition of artists visual.

Creative performances include entertainment, creative performances, and demos. This category displays the latest creativity in music, performance art, collaborative art, fashion and more. A number of top musicians in Bali, such as Ayu Laksmi, Balawan, Navicula, The Hydrant, Nymphea, Lolot, and Nanoe Biroe, as well as talented youth ranks of OneDollarForMusic Ardha Candra will appear on a rotating basis for three nights.

The Creative Forum include seminars, presentations, and workshops. Several sources from within and outside the country would appear to bring cutting-edge topics that became a trend in the creative world. In this forum there will be talks and workshops, eg on blogs and social networking by Bali Blogger Community (BBC) and creative entrepreneurs by Popo Danes and social design by Blue Esjepe and Enrico Halim. Cannucciari Singgih Kartono and Paola will share in a talk about the creation of green and sustainable.

According Dethu, BCF is not just a celebration of creativity but also a symbol of creativity in Bali, which brings together two dynamic life of the world, the past is characterized by tradition and modern life is full of dynamics. According to him, Bali's creative industries have actually been there all along. This industry support Bali besides tourism. Creative industries are also growing. Therefore, one major goal of this activity is to make Bali as the area of creative, not just tourism.

"Tourism is vulnerable. There is a slight problem will immediately buckle. If you ever stand on tourism in Bali, Bali is very vulnerable. Creative industries have become another economic pillar in Bali," he said.
